This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, offering direct exposure to founders and real capital markets activity. You will not be doing one narrow task; you will gain broad insight into how a new financial asset class is built and see a start-up in the making. Key Responsibilities MARKETING & SALES SUPPORT Support preparation of investor presentations and sales materials Assist with conference preparation and follow-up Help manage CRM and outreach lists Contribute to LinkedIn and thought leadership content MARKET RESEARCH Research natural asset markets (forestry, agriculture, commodities) Analyze competitors and industry trends Support TAM / SAM / SOM and demand-side analysis Identify potential investor or origination targets FINANCIAL PRODUCT STRUCTURING SUPPORT Assist in preparing financial models and return scenarios Support due diligence documentation Help structure investment memoranda and pitch materials Contribute to regulatory and compliance research STRATEGIC PROJECTS Work directly with founders on ad-hoc initiatives Support platform development discussions with research and user insights Contribute to building internal processes and documentation Specific Project Scope Alongside the ongoing responsibilities above, this role will take a leading support position on one of the two defined build projects. These are real, business-critical initiatives with clear ownership and measurable outcomes. PROJECT 1 : Ridge Supply-Side Set-Up Building the engine that brings asset owners onto the platform. Design and stand up a new, repeatable system to find, identify, screen, contact, and convert asset owners, such as forest and farmland owners, project developers, and land stewards, onto the Ridge platform. Build the sourcing funnel end to end: define the target universe and qualifying criteria, assemble and enrich prospect lists, establish a screening and prioritization framework, and design the outreach and conversion sequences that move an owner from first contact to onboarded supply. Turn what is today an ad-hoc effort into a documented, scalable origination process that the team can run and continuously improve. PROJECT 2: Ridge CRM Implementation One integrated system for both sides of the marketplace. Implement an end-to-end, fully integrated CRM covering both the supply side (asset owners and originators) and the demand side (investors and distribution partners), following the outcomes of our CRM benchmark discussion. Translate the benchmark findings into a configured system: pipeline stages and statuses for each side, contact and account data models, activity and outreach tracking, and reporting views that give the founders a single source of truth on the state of both pipelines. Ensure the CRM connects cleanly with the supply-side sourcing engine above and with existing outreach workflows, so data flows through one system rather than living in scattered lists and spreadsheets. Who You Are A final-year student or recent graduate in finance, economics, business, environmental finance, sustainability, or engineering (with a finance interest). Beyond the field of study, we are looking for someone who is: Strong in analytical and research skills An excellent written communicator Curious about climate, capital markets, and entrepreneurship Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment Detail-oriented and a structured thinker Nice To Have Basic understanding of financial modeling Interest in ESG / impact investing Experience in startups What You Will Gain Direct exposure to institutional capital markets Understanding of securitization and structured finance Insight into building a fintech platform from early stage Experience in impact investing and natural capital Mentorship from the founders Real responsibility from day one This is not a corporate internship. It is an opportunity to help build a new asset class, and a new company, from the scratch. Show more Show less
